It is a good idea what the adminiatrator said about having a roll call. We can all check if anyone has a connection to the THOMs we are all vainly searching for. I am listing my THOM information below just in case someone recognize any of them.

John THOM, born about 1802 in Marnoch, Banffshire, Scotland, son of Alexander THOM and Isobel RITCHIE, married Barbara RAEBURN on January 8, 1825 in Gamrie, Banffshire, Scotland.

Their children:

Alexander about 1825 born in Marnoch, Banff.
Died in infancy.

Ann christened July 6, 1826 in Forgue, Aberdeen.

John, born about 1831 in Rothiemay, Banff.

Isobel, christened August 22, 1830 in Rothiemay, Banff.

Alexander, christened May 28, 1833 in Marnoch, Banff.
He married Helen ANDREW on June 17, 1871 in Ordiquhill Parish.

William, christened June 20, 1835 in Forgue, Aberdeen.

Barbara, born about 1838 in Turrif, Aberdeen.
She married Charles CRUICKSHANK on January 2, 1875 in Banff Parish.

Jane, born about 1839 in Marnoch.

Mary, born December 22, 1843 in Marnoch.
She married William THOMSON on November 26, 1866 in Banff Parish.
Emmigrated to Canada 1867.

I have culled the above information from the IGI, Scot Origins, the Scottish censuses for 1841, 1851, 1861, and 1881. And of course the kindness and help of listers from the various mailing lists.
