Rose Viola THOMPSON Bartle Berk of New Jersey

Surnames: Thompson, Carson, Bartle, Berk
Hi all, I am descended from Rose Viola Thompson of New Brunswick, New Jersey. She died in about 1965 at the age of 91.
She outlived two husbands: my ancestor Arthur Bartle (d. 1896) and her second husband, John Berk. She had children by each husband.
Would love to learn more about Rose's family, especially her Thompson or Carson ancestors and her Berk descendants. (I am just barely old enough to remember "Banny", as we called her. There's an old five-generations picture that includes both of us, and I vaguely remember the picture-taking session!)
Anyway, thanks for your time--and if any of my distant cousins are out there, perhaps you can help me identify some of the people in some ancient photographs I recently inherited.
