William Thompson is listed as the spouse of Mary Livingston in her father Andrew's intestate records ca.1777 in York Co., now Adams Co. Does anyone know anything about this couple? Did they have children? Thanks for any assistance you can give. Paula Rollins

I've been trying my whole adult life to find the parents of Joshua Frederick Thompson, b. sometime between 1795 and 1810. He first shows up in Littlestown, York, now Adams.

I know nothing about this couple other than what I stated. I have been trying to find out info on them. Her parents are Andrew and Prudence Livingston who lived in what is now Adams Co. I know nothing about William. I don't know the religion because most of the early non-German (they are not German) records did not survive. I don't know if they stayed in Adams Co. area or not. Her father died intestate in 1777. I have been there to research and found nothing on them, some on William Thompsons but nothing to indicate any of them were married to a Mary Livingston. I suspect they were born 1740-1750. I don't have dates on her parents either. Quite a challenging search. Paula
