THORER married MARTE IVERSDR Oct. 19, 1822 in Trogstad, Ostford, Norway. They had a son,
JENS MARTIN Thoresen b. May 5, 1844 in Enebakk, Akershus, Norway and d. May 10, 1909 in Tacoma, WA.
JENS MARTIN Thoresen married ANNA MARIE SVENSDATTER abt. 1865 in Norway they had several children before she died in 1873 in Norway, Jens left Norway and moved to Wisc. where he married Aletta Hansen and they had son.
In 1900 they moved to Tacoma, WA. where they used the spelling of THORSEN.
