Thornton-Lindsey & Dicy- in Tallapoosa co Al

Surnames: Thornton-Echols- Goolsby
In March 1839 Dicy Thornton married Armstead Echold(my gg grandparents). They moved to Monroe co. Ms. had two children Elizabeth & Armstead Thomas. By 1850 Dicy was living in Tallapoosa co. Al in the household of Lindsey Thornton next to Yancy Thornton both of Ga. She had remarried and by this time and was Dicy Goolsby and had two more children, William & Mary. Armstead Sr, must have died in Ms. Can not find any record of him after this. I am searching for the parents of Dicy. Does any one have any knowledge of this family. Dicy was born in Ga. 1813-1818. Is Lindsey her father, an older brother, an uncle ??? Will greatly appreciate any help. I have hit a wall on this one. Thanks Ann
