Classification: Query
Surnames: Thren, Sandman, Egg, Ruppert
My Grandfathers name was Joseph Anthony Thren his parents were: Charles Francis Thren and Rosa G. Sandman of the Reading, Pennsylvania area.

Charles and Rosa (Sandman) Thren had 9 Children, Francis Richard, *Joseph Anthony, Carl William, Ralph A., Robert H., Rose Marie, Agnes, James, Anna. Our Threns came over to the USA before 1848 from the Baden, Germany area.

Charles parents were Joseph and Ellen (Ruppert) Thren

Rosa Sandman, in her obituary has listed as, "These brothers and sisters survive, Joseph and Albert, Reading; Theresa, wife of Augustus Peters, Philadelphia; Anna, Wilmington, Del; Mary and Hannah Sandtman, Reading; and Gertrude, a nun in a convent".

I have seen Rosa spelled Rose and Rosie also. Rose’ Parents were Richard and Monica (Egg) Sandman.

If any of this is making sense to anyone get in touch with me, I have more information.
