My great grandfather was George Thren he had one brother that I know of named Andrew. George was born in Germany and came to the states when he was 18 yrs. old. He married Mary Schlegel and they lived in Millbrooke, Michigan, (south of Remus) and they produced Adeline, Minnie, Levina, Andrew, Alma, Angelina, Arnold, Lewis, Hulda, Richard (died when he was 15 yrs. old between 1915-1920), Leona and Carl Ewald, my grandfather. Carl married Marie Packard in 1929 and they produced, Barbara, Duane Ewald, (my father) and Ann Marie.
