I am looking for any and all information about Ano Olin. I have very little information.

He may have been born with the last name of Thresher/Thrasher and later changed it to Olin.

He would have been born between 1900 - 1904, probably in Michigan.

Mother may have been Etta Bell Wallace/Calder/Thresher/Olin/Sweet/Kohler.

Father may have been John Olin or Clarence Thresher.

In the 1910 census, he was the son of John and Etta Olin and they were living in St. Paul, MN.

In the 1920 census, he was again listed as the son of John and Etta Olin in Cincinnati, OH.

In July 1920, he entered the Army under the name Ano Olin in Cincinnati, OH and was discharged in October 1921 in Indiana.

In December 1921, he accompanied and signed his father over to the Michigan State hospital in Lansing, MI. The court papers say he was 21 and living with his Mom (Etta Bell Olin) and two brothers, Willmount and John in Manistee, MI.

After this, he disappears. There are family stories that he went back into the military and may have gone AWOL.
