Services were 2:00 p. m. Saturday (January 12, 2002) at Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Buse of Santa Anna officiating. Burial followed in the Brown Ranch Cemetery, under the direction of Walker Funeral Home.Born November 22, 1911 in Coleman County, Texas, she was the daughter of Richard O. Throgmorton and Dollie Mills Throgmorton. On December 22, 1931, she and H. T. Morgan were married in Coleman. He preceded her in death in 1983. She married Charlie Jones in Coleman on April 2, 1984 and he preceded her in death in 1989. A lifetime resident of Coleman County, she was a housewife and member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Vernon Roberts of Coleman; a son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Mary Morgan of White Chapel; a brother, Otis Throgmorton of Mozelle; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren."
