Nancy Matilda Thurston (Ison)(born:01/31/1875, Edwards,MO) was my GGgrandmother,and she was the daughter of William S. Thurston & Matilda V. Phillips, according to papers given to me by my mother,thru relatives. I have some information, but seems a bit confusing when reading it. This information was given to a cousin in az by J.S. Thurston in 1962. Seems there is possibly a connection with Chief Tecumseh??
