Tickell - Summerson

I am searching for ancestors of Ada Summerson. Born 1860-61
I am trying to find her mother and father. i know a Francis E Tickell [ nee Summerson ] was her Aunt. Francis E's husband was John Tickell born abt 1831 in Barton, Lincolnshire, England.

My maternal grandfather was Reginald Theodore Tickell d.o.b. 10(?)/05/1883. He had a twin sister May. Their father was Theodore Tickell, mother Francis Sarah Tickell.

Hello, I am sorry but I have found this and as a child my Uncle Frederick Tickell used to do beautiful paintings. He used to live in Melbourne. I don't know if it is his work.

My wife's grandfather was William Burletson (1870-1941), son of George Reed B (1838-1897), son of Bryan Burletson (1806-1840), master mariner of Bishopwearmouth by his wife Anne Reed. Bryan's father was William B (1785-1871), son of another William B who married Elizabeth Dorman in 1772. I have lots of info on the Burletsons and Reeds which I'm happy to share. How are you connected with them?

Ella's sister, Lela, married Lloyd Pinnell, who's brother, William Russell Pinnell, married my aunt, Emma Dawson. Lloyd and Lela's son, William Brooks Pinnell, married Evelyn Blankenship. They had a son Robert Brooks Pinnell, who as far as I know still lives in Sikeson, Missouri.

Hi, It's actually a brooch, not a ring (I got it wrong) and belongs to a distant cousin in New Zealand who inherited it with other family things. We have no idea who Jane Tarring was or why he should have the brooch - it's a complete mystery but we assume she's a relation. Perhaps you can help us? Our family came from Co Durham around Sunderland. Other families we are connected to were called Burletson, Reed, Duncan, Laurie, Leighton, Branxton - don't know if that gives you any clues. Do tell us what you know of Jane Tarring (presumably Tarring was her married name). Best wishes, Hew

I have a John TICKELL born 1814 in Kingsbridge, Devon. He was my ggg-grandfather and he came to Melbourne Australia in 1841 where he married Isabella RAE.

I think there may also be a link to Tarring.
He married a Jane Tarring in the 1800s.

My gg grandfather was Samson TICKLE (b.1842 in Altarnun - d.1924 - buried in Liskeard). He m. Maria PERKIN in 1866. He had an uncle called Sampson TICKELL (1819 - 1891) and a cousin called Samson TICKELL (1849 - after 1901).
There are Samson TICKLE's mentioned in the 1600s & 1700s which I am trying to link into my research.
I would like to hear from anyone who has a Samson TICKELL
from Cornwall in their family tree as I am sure there will be a connection.

I am looking for people connected to Ella D. Tickell b. 3/5/1894 in New Madrid Co. Mo. her father was Louis Alfred Tickell b. 9/29/1850 in New Madrid d. 7/21/1941 in Sikeston, Mo. He married Leila Simmers of the same areas. Ella was married to Joseph Hilary Boone b. abt/ 1877. In your search have you come across these names?

Our family has a mourning ring inscribed "Jane Tarring died 13 Sep 1818 aged 28" - we know nothing about her, we only have the ring, handed down through the family, and suppose she's a relation. Does this link up with yours?

Hi, I see you have posted a reply to my cousins email, yes the ring is of one of our great grandmothers, at the moment I am finishing a world tour, so just passing time in St John, New Brunwick.
