I have recently come into possession of a copy of a manuscript that was in the possession of Nancy Tidball of Millersburg Oh, copied by Milford Tidball in 1880. (It was given to me by a friend, and I believe he obtained the copy from Bethel Church records) It gives the story of Elizabeth Brownhill and her father who was the surgeon to the King of England and how she met Thomas Tidball, a sailor on the ship on her voyage to America.
I will admit it reads somewhat like a Disney Movie, but it is interesting, informative and very much like a fairy tale romance. It is pretty long, and I'm not sure how much space is available in postings here. I have retyped and saved it in a Word Document. I see the attachments icon below, can I use it to add a Word Doc? If so, I'd be happy to for all to read.
Dave Tidball, if you read this, for what it is worth, this document says Thomas Tidball spelt Tydball was born in England and Thomas was the younger of two sons, the eldest was Charles.
If anyone would like a copy, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
and I will send you one.
