My grandfather, Thomas Tierney, was born in Oughterard, Galway Ireland
In 1872. He had a sister, Bridget, and both lived in Pgh, Pa. He married
Bridget McDonough and were parents of John, Ellen, and my father,
Thomas. My grandfather passed away while my Dad was overseas in
WW2', probably 1942 or 43.
