Hi guys.

Clearly a newcomer, but am very interested in the history behind the name especially as there's so few in Ireland. It seems manifestly clear that those who have put time in have come to the conclusion that we're all English??

Please let me know, if only to enlighten me of my ignorances.

Karen (Timbs)

Timbs In Terre Haute, Indiana

Hi. My name is Scott Allen Timbs. I live in Terre Haute, Indiana and I was told until recently that I was the only male left with our family name. All of my dad's family is gone and I guess no one had really looked so they figured they were the only ones.
I myself am glad that this is not true since I am 37, divorced, and without children.
A few years ago I found what may be a connection between the name Timbs and a family named Timbes in Texas. Anyone else know of this?
Feel free to e-mail me.

Scott
