I'm researching the ancestry of Hesicali "Mays" Robinson. His dad & granddad were both named Jefferson ("Jeff" for short.) Dad was said to have been born around April 1888 in Louisiana. His wife was Rodia/Rhoda Wright, born around 1893 in Mississippi. Granddad Jeff was said to have been born in Aug. 1865 in Miss. or LA. His common-law wife was Flora Birdsaw (Birdsong?), said to have been born in May 1873 in Miss. or LA. Dad, Grandad & family were found in the 1920 census in Mississippi Township, Desha County, Arkansas. They were also found in the 1900 census in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. It is believed that "Mays" was born around 1930 in Marion, Arkansas
