I am researching the Tipton family for a friend of mine. I've just begun so I only have a few names right now. I believe the members of this family were born in Florida and migrated to Covington/Butler county in Alabama. The names I have right now are Charles Greenberry Tipton; also a Charles A. Tipton and his son Joel Jonathan Tipton who married Eliza J. Clark.
