HUBBARD – Funeral services will be held Wednesday at noon at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Joseph F. Tiratto, 69, who died Sunday evening Dec. 11, 2011, at his home.
He was born Aug. 3, 1942, in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Ben and Mary Zinger Tiratto and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Tiratto was a repair welder for Commercial Shearing for 33 years, retiring in 2001.
He was a 1960 graduate of Lowellville High School.
Joe will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends, he was always smiling and laughing with everyone. He enjoyed going out to dinner, the Italian festivals in the area, listening to Frank Sinatra, gardening, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and taking care of his car.
Joe enjoyed playing with his train sets and sitting on his porch drinking (Folgers coffee) and playing cards.
He leaves his wife, the former Betty Gimbel, whom he married June 30, 1990; three sons, Joey Ostrowski of Campbell, Ohio, Robert (Marianne) Tiratto of Austintown, Ohio and Ben Tiratto of Canfield, Ohio; three stepchildren, John (Shana) Gimbel of Youngstown, Kimberly Craver of Phoenix and Lori (Sean) Burns of Grove City, Ohio; a sister, Rosemarie Wallace of Youngstown, OH; three grandsons, Jack Ryan Gimbel of Arizona and Sean and Christopher Burns of Grove City, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and his dear friend, Andy Darko.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, John Tiratto.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
