L. Templar Titus, Jr., age 77, of Ellijay, Georgia, formerly of Leesburg, VA, passed suddenly on Tuesday, May 7th, 2013.
Born January 26th, 1936 to his late parents, Louis T. Titus, Sr. and Margaret Mable Florence Titus in Leesburg, Virginia.
Mr. Titus attended the Cartecay United Methodist Church, graduated from Leesburg High School, Class of 1954, and received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Capitol University in Washington, D.C.
He was a retiree of the National Weather Service, and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Graveside interment will take place in the Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1st, 2013. A reception will immediately follow at the Leesburg Senior Center, at the corner of Wirt and North Streets. Rev. Deborah Dodson Parsons of Leesburg Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Survivors include wife of 46 years, Karen Anderson Titus of Ellijay, GA; Daughters and sons-in-law Sara and Kris Allegood of Marietta, GA and Laurel and Lee Carlson of Albuquerque, NM; Son, Louis T. Titus, III of Sugarland, TX; Grandchildren, Martin Andrew Carlson, Spencer Kyle Allegood and Patrick James “Jimmy” Allegood; Brother, C. Terry Titus of Leesburg, VA also survives.
