My great grandmother was from Galveston, Tx, Lena Johanna Tix b. 22 Jan 1907 to Julius & Carolina Tix. She married Michele (Mike) Esposito in the early 1920's in Contra Costa County, CA; however, I have been told she was previously married and had children with him.

Not sure how much this helps but I hope it does.

My name is Emma Khalar Von Der Vellen. My Father was Albert William Khalar, first son of William & Patricia Khalar. His Father was the Son of Mary Loberger. She was divorced from her first husband , she had 2 sons Wm. & Maximillan. Mox died shortly before I was born (l939). His wife was Annie. When I was about 4 we rented the Loberger farm for a short period of time. Our farm was a few miles down the road. These farms were located in Bennett, Wi. Our mailing address was Lake Nebagamon. I have 1 Sister Betty Dickison. She had done some geneology research. Maybe you have had some contact with her. I believe my Father also thought there might have been a 3rd son, who went with the Father.

Margaret/Libbie/Barbara Tix - Iowa

I have a mystery with my family genealogy due to conflict of name on various records. None the less, I am trying to find the any living descendents to my great great Uncle William Wittman and his wife who is known by the nickname of Libbie but whose name is either Barbara or Margaret Tix. I believe her real name is Barbara Tix because she signed her daughter's death certificate and this is her name on the death certificate. William and Libbie lived in North Dakota. Libbie was born in Baucraft (sp?) Iowa.

William died when he was 33 years old leaving Libbie with 2 young daughters. I am seeking contact with descendents of these 2 young daughters.

I'd appreciate any information!

Thanks in advance.

I hadn't checked here in a while, so was surprised to see an entry from today! Mary Tix Khalar Lohberger was my GreatGrandmother.
I don't have anything on the Lohbergers but if you need anything about the Khalars I probably could help. By the way, are you the Robert J. Olson that was the co-author to "The Doffing Family"?

As I understand it, Catherine Schwingler lived in Scott County, Minnesota. I really think her family was Euskirchen, Germany, although I have also seen it as Switzerland(although I do not understand the descrepancy).
Bob Olson

Hi:

Are you a Lohberger descendant. When I did the Doffing-Tix work years ago I found that branch extremely difficult to find. As I recall there were two sons named Khalar and from one son there are a bunch of decsandants that lived at or near Lake Nebagom, Wisconsin. I have that stuff stored in a genealogy that I am working on. I am willing to share data.
Bob Olson
