Florence V. Tixier, 84, born in Clayton, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 1998 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Napoleon J. Tixier. She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Tixier y Vigil and husband, Gene Freund of Council Bluffs, IA, Denise Tixier Schachet and husband, John of Denver, CO; son, Charles Tixier and wife, Kathy of New Orleans, LA; sister, Beatrice Lopez and husband, Blas of Albuquerque; brother, Orlando Vigil of Santa Fe; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be held Tuesday, June 23, 1998, 7:00 p.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church. Services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 1998, 10:00 a.m., also at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
