I am trying to locate information on my maternal family. George was my grandfather and since a previous search I have obtained his Social Security Record. DOB: 10/14/1893, New Orleans, LA. Deceased: April 1968, Baltimore, MD. George's parents were James Edward and Catherine Mae Tobey (nee Goard). George apparently left home at the age of 14 and became a sailor. He was married twice, first wife unknown with a daughter Maria. His second marriage was to Emma Loretta (nee) Lulay deceased 1968 or 1969 in Maryland. Two children born to this marriage Georgiann in 1942 (my mother) and a second daughter having not survived approximately 1945 Benita.
