I may have posted this before but I'm not sure. I am looking for any information on Elmer Jerry Tolbert. Birth unknown. I'm not sure he is still alive. He may not be. He was married to Ethylene Baker. Her birth is also unknown. They were the parents of my mother. She was Joy Diane Tolbert. Born 24 Feb 1954 in Mt. Airy, NC. She had 1 sister and 3 brothers. Linda, Doug, Wayne and Ricky. Their births are unknown. My mother died 21 Nov 1999. I have no other information. I would really like to know what I can find out on him and my grandmother. I do know or was told that my grandmother divorced Elmer. I'm unsure of any dates. My mother and her siblings spent a few years at Mills Home here in Thomasville.

I had posted this some where else around here and someone did find maybe a census record or something that had my mother and her father listed. But I can't remember where it was located or what it was. Please let me know of any information you may have. This is the ONLY missing link in my history.
