I'm searching for parents and siblings of my ggggrandfather Jonathan Tolland b. NC about 1797 m. Ann Brown NC and Jacob Toland b.SC about 1791 m. Rhoda Toland. They are all listed in the Humphreys County TN 1850 census. Jonathan came from Somersetshire England, settled first in ILL. then came to TN. Jonathan Tolland and Jacob Toland are both in the 1840 census. Jonathan Tolland is my ancestor and his son Isaac dropped one T in the family name. I don't know if Jonathan and Jacob are brother or not. Any info on these two and their families would be very much appreciated.
