My grandfateher and his father all came from Montefalco. I have visited there many times and threre are many Tabarrini's in the area. Locating the Toma family is very difficult as they possibly came into Castel Gardens before Ellis Island was established. These records are only in the Archives and I understand they have been released to the Ellis Island group for listing names. locations along with arrival dates and ships they came on.
One item that should concern you is that Montefalco is made up of many frazione and you have to learn from which they came. The normally noted that they were posted in Montefalco but they possibly lived in the frazione's like Turitta, Pietrautra, Montepennio, and Madona della Stella.
