Seeking information about Richard Tomlinson, born in Sedgley, Staffordshire County, England, circa 1842, married Tamar Bradley, born circa 1846 in Sedgley, Staffordshire County, England. They emigrated to the U.S.A. circa 1870 and settled in the Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, area. Richard died in that area circa 1907. I am trying to determine whether he was uncle to my great-grandfather, William Richard Tomlinson, born 1860 in Kentucky, lived in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and Kansas, before moving to Pennsylvania, died 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. William Richard was the son of Joseph Tomlinson (born somewhere in England in 1830, married Martha Burnett in 1859 in Cannelton, Perry County, Indiana, died 1910 in Scranton, Osage County, Kansas).
