My Grandfather, Arturo Tonini came to America in the early 1900's aboard the ship Liguria. His parents were Pasquale Tonini and Rosina Georgina. His mother died in 1886 due to long term complications with his birth in 1885. Pasquale then married Allesandra Giambelli and they had two children, Nello and Pietro. I know that both Nello and Pietro stayed in Italy, and had families. Pietro married Beppina Georgina and they had a daughter Sandrina. Sandrina married Mario Brescaini and they two children that I know of, Enrico and Daniella. Pietro died about 1974. I know that my aunt Rose Tonini and been to visit them, last time I think was in the seventies. Please contact me if you know anything.
