I am interested in finding information on Thomas Toomey, born Oct 1879 in Bridgeport, died Nov. 1959 at 80 yrs. Native of Bridgeport, he lived on the East side for 70 yrs. Worked for the Ct State Highway Dept. as a bridgetender for Stratford Ave and Washington Ave. Bridges. At the time of his death lived with his son Edward J Toomey. He had 2 Daughters Beatrice Toomey Seelgan of Lakewood Ca. and Margaret Toomey Derby of Bridgeport. Two sisters: Margaret Toomey Kelly and Anna Toomey Eaton. If you can help me gather any other information on the Toomeys I'd greatly appreciate it.
