We are seeking the help of relatives who may be able to identify photographs that once belonged to Martha Jane (Hoult) Toothman (1850-1931) who was the wife of Thornton Jacob Toothman and the daughter of John Cunningham Hoult and his first wife Susanna Bare. Martha was raised by her paternal grandparents, John B. Hoult and Elizabeth (Cunningham) Hoult, who are pictured in her collection. In addition to the Hoults, some photos in the collection may represent Martha’s husband’s family, Thronton was the son of Charles Toothman & Mahala (Arnett) Toothman.
