Surnames: Torrens to Torrance
Hi Every/any body.
My ist grandp[arents Hugh Torrens/Rachal Torrens/ daughter Margaret Torrens,came to the USDA in 1847, and I am tring to find what ship[ they came over on, and what part of Derry, and Antrim the departed from. Also on what ship they sailed, and the port. I think they landed in NYC, because Rachals nephew came from Antrim and landed in NYC in 1848.
Hugh Torrens, changed his name to Torrance when he got his citizenship papers. I have a copy of this.
