I have been told that the name Tooloose came from the French city Toulouse.....something about a mix up in spelling when our ancestors came to America.......could this be true and if so I am vey excited to learn more about the family tree as well as give any information needed about my part of the branch.... I do know that as far as our family goes there are only a hand full of living relatives, mostly in Indiana and some in St. Louis.
