I am researching my gr gr grandfather and it seems to lead me back to N.C. So I think there is a good chance your William W. was a cousin to my gr grandfather. W.W. had an older brother almost the same age as my gr grandfather, and W.W.'s father Anderson was almost the same age as my gr gr grandfather. Hope this helps!
