You family is downline from James Clarkson Traer, and
I am down from George Fletcher Traer. They were brothers.
I have nothing but birth and death of Parthena Fletcher.
My father was John Wesley Traer, his twin brother, who died
in Calif. was another George Fletcher Traer. Their little brother, who was born in Indian Terr. in 1900 was James Montgromery. Cary Traer the oldest boy just had 3 girls so he named one of his daughters first name Traer. Dad & Mom had 2 boys, but they just had girls so that ended the Traer name here. James M. Traer had one daughter, who never married and one son, also James, he had a daughter and divorced no other children. George Fletcher, dads twin had one son John Clyde. He had a son and is carring on the line in Calif., but I have lost touch with his decendants. Otherwise the Traer line is dying out. I am trying to get some of my grandkids when they have children to name one of them Traer, but they look at me kind of strange.
