He was known as "Old Man Trampe" homesteaded near Gunnison Colorado

Possibly (John), his son is Howard Trampe, possibly living. The senior Trampe, as I understand was from near Metropolis, Illinois. He was a teacher before he came to Colorado. We used to rent a cabin from him during the 50's and 60's, also went trout fishing on his property. Is this of interest to anybody?
