Looking for a grandfarther I nor my mom knew?

I'm currently looking for Clifford Thomas Treadway, born around may 1921. He ran out on my grandmother. After being married to Helen Hartman and having two child with her(my mom,Judith L. and my uncle, Thomas A.). We are wondering at this pont if he isn't dead but we just want some kind of connect. Please if you have any information let us know it's been over 45 years.
