Hello,
I'm trying to trace my Tremblay side back into Canada, and I've gotten stuck at my GG grandfather. My grandfather was Raymond Tremblay, son of Lucien Tremblay, son of Philas/Phillip/Felix Tremblay.
Philias had a son, Philias Jr., who is often seen listed as Felix Jr., and so I've included the Felix as a possible name.
Philias was born in 1865 in Vermont, according to several census records. He died in Woonsocket, Rhode Island in 1947. His wife's name was Exina (maiden name was possibly Savoie, born in Canada; I have no information on her either).
I have no information about his parents or siblings, though I'm willing to bet that Philias's parents are likely from Canada. I have him on the 1900 and 1910 US censuses, but that is it.
If anyone can find out any other information, no matter how little, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Christopher J. Thibeault
