I have a memorandum from a very old family record that lists four children of Benjamin and Eunice Pennington Trembly. They are as follows: Josiah Trembly born, Jan 29, 1784; John Trembly born March 20, 1786; Mary Trembly born January 16, 1788, Sarah....no date given.
Mary married John Roberts/Robbarts in 1812. I do have their line down to my Great grandmother.
I have seen some people say that Eunice died 1789/90. I wonder if she may have died in childbirth? That would make James born, 1791 and Ephraim born 1793 wife of the second wife, Elizabeth Boylan.(Or perhaps Sarah is also the daughter of Elizabeth) I did find the third wife, Frances Lawson but not the second. Benjamin appears in the 1810 census of Monongalia Co., WVA. and in some court documents.
I have a question regarding the death date of Mary Trembly. I know she was living in Knox Co., Ohio, didn't find it (the death) there. but in an article talking of the 1790 census a Mary Roberts is listed as one of the oldest citizens. Her birth date is given as 1788. I can't help but wonder if they might be the smae Mary? Any help is appreciated.
I want to thank you very much for your posting. You have a kind heart.
