I am trying to find further information on Susie Trempe, wife of William Alexander McCook Guard. (he was mostly listed as Alexander.)
The only info I can supply is for Alexander, who's parents were Timothy Guard and Mary J. McCook Guard.
Alexander McCook Guard was born 1849 in Illinois.

I found Susie Trempe listed as Alexander's wife in the
ARMY AND NAVY JOURNAL, July 29, 1905, (Recent Death Notices). Major Alexander McCook Guard, U.S.A., died at Sault Ste Mariee, Mich., July 19, 1905. He is buried in Cincinnati, Ohio.
