Seeking info on Susie Trempe, wife of Wm. Alexander McCook Guard

I am trying to find further information on Susie Trempe, wife of William Alexander McCook Guard. (he was mostly listed as Alexander.)
The only info I can supply is for Alexander, who's parents were Timothy Guard and Mary J. McCook Guard.
Alexander McCook Guard was born 1849 in Illinois.

I found Susie Trempe listed as Alexander's wife in the
ARMY AND NAVY JOURNAL, July 29, 1905, (Recent Death Notices). Major Alexander McCook Guard, U.S.A., died at Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., July 19, 1905. He is buried in Cincinnati, Ohio.

My great-grand-father JOSEPH TESSIER of Montreal was married in 1860 to ROSE-DE-LIMA TREMPE daughter of HERCULE TREMPE AND HENRIETTE GIROUX. I don't have any information on the Trempe family. I am particularly interested in finding if they had any connection with the LANTHIER family.

Looking for information on my grandmother.
She was born June 14, 1918, in Island Pond,
Vermont. She died September 1979 in Milford,
New Hampshire. She married Jessie A. Little.
They had 5 children I believe. Any help
