Patty, are you still working on Trenton. I have great - great grandfather William Trenton born MD. Then he lived in West Virginia, later to IL. His daughter Lurana was member of the Antioch Church at Dillion Settlement, Tazewell County IL in 1859. William Trenton married Eliza Ruckman, 2nd. I believe his 1st wife to be a unknown daughter of Richard Blue.

Some of the New York City indexes acutally have separate index for stillbirths. YOu can sometimes find them at the end of the county index. It is not consistent- you have to poke around- best bet is to get to a local LDS centre or vital records.

Mary-This is a very good question. My mom's Aunt Marion(maiden name Smith) had twins( boy & girl)born abt.1929 or later, one baby( my mom believes was a boy) was still born and my mom believes that the baby girl was put up for adoption. The doctor that delivered these babies was Dr.Fernbrooke.You see my mom's Aunt died shortly after given birth to the twins. And the only thing my mom remembers hearing Dr.Fernbrooke and my grandmother(Isabelle Smith-Dunphy)talking about is having Dr. Fernbrooke adopting her(my mom).

How would you go about finding a listing of stillbirths? or children born and that died shortly after. Does the hospitals keep these records??????? Looking for information on my brother. Robert Lee Sprouse-either stillborn or died shortly after.

Thanks

Hi Darlene,
my grandfather was Frank C. Trenton,My dad (Arthur)had a cousin name Howard.their from the cumberland Maryland area. I some where have a lot of stuff that my aunt did on the trentons (margaret Spencer) Id have to look but I think she was a Trenton also. She did great research on the Trenton's. Where are you from? I think that all the Trentons are related, because their are only about 75 Families in the United States and I know over Half of them. Look forward to hearing from you. Patty
