Hi

I am related to all the above.

Dorothea was my grandmother. She married Geoffrey Hanmer Clark, and they went to NZ in the 1920s. They had 14 children, of which my mother was the fourth. Richard Dunlop Trezevant was her father, and was a planter, JP and master mariner. He is mentioned in the Archive of Fiji. Richard Palace was Dora's grandfather.

I found your mothers message about her search of her history. This was a year ago. I too was doing a family tree of the Tresvant/Trezvants. I answered her request and led her to Brunswick,Ga. I don't know if she received this information. I hope I was of some help to you those two times we talked. Good luck.

They were free people of color. In those days they were considered mulatto. Union between black women and white
men. The name is French, the union was called:"Plasarge".
Some of the Trezvant moved to Georgia, Tenn.,

I am assuming that Mary's maiden name was Tresvant. If so, would you kindly share some of her family history/info? Tresvant is not a common name and in researching our geneology, I have found that every person named Tresvant, so far, have been related. Yes. Thanks again. Those messages were posted prior to speaking with you via email that day. Now I have to find out about Charles. I have 3 generations of Charles, none of which were born around the same time period, but the eldest was approx. 20 years later.

The other Tresvant I need info on is Benjamin who married Minnie Martin. Who is Benjamin's brothers and sisters? Who are his parents? They are indeed related. We have proven that. My next project is to link all the branches. (smile).

the family reunion will be Friday June 29,-
Sunday July 1,2001. There were registration fees and payment options I say were because the registration fee was due by 03/30/2001.
one of the committee members is Doris Wilson she lives in Chicago Il., another committee

I have several letters from the Trezevant family of Rayville, Richland, LA written to a sister in St. Louis, Mrs. C.T. Winfrey, possibly the mother of Julia Trezevant Winfrey. The letters are dated 1904, 1905, and 1910, and I bought these at an antique store in Eureka, MO. I would love to give these to the descendants. The names that are mentioned in the letters are:
