The following is a message from Sue Norrod:
---------------------------------------------

Rev. Andrew Tribble will be honored by the unveiling of a Memorial Marker near Tates Creek Baptist Church in Richmond, KY on Sat., June 20th, 2009.

The memorial will be dedicated by Pastor Jeff Faggart of the Baptist History Preservation Society of Rockwell, NC. The marker stands over six feet high and will highlight his achievements both in Virginia and in Kentucky.

Rev. Andrew Tribble (b.1741,d.1822) had 12 children. If you are a descendant of one of those children we would like to have a family reunion at Boonesborough State Park, 4375 Boonesboro Road, Richmond KY 40475.

When: Sat., June 20th, 2009
Meet at 11:00 a.m. at Shelter House #1, Boonesborough State Park

We will leave by caravan to the designated memorial site for the unveiling and return to the shelter house for lunch.

What to Bring: We ask that everyone bring a covered dish, a folding chair and their favorite 2 liter soft drink. Place settings and ice will be provided as well as fried chicken from a local restaurant.

Entertainment: After the dedication of the marker we will have the pleasure of listening to "Narrow Road" a local Gospel Bluegrass Band.

Fort Admission will be at a group rate if you would like to tour through on your own and I have been told that we may be visited by reinactors in 1790's clothing at our shelter for the price of a plate of food!

Reservations: Please R.S.V.P. by May 1st to csnorrod@gmail.com if you would like to attend.

We are asking a donation of $4.00 per person to cover the cost of food, supplies and shelter house rental. Small children are free.

This invitation goes out to every Tribble descendant and friend across the country....just let us know you are coming in case we have to rent additional tents or shelter houses. We hope to see you there. This is a wonderful event honoring a godly grandfather to us all!!

Sincerely,
Sue Norrod (descendant from Rev. Tribble's 1st born son, Samuel)
