Surnames: Trickey, Hill, Pearl
I have an original carte de visite photograph of “Grandmother Hannah (Trickey) Hill”, which I would like to get back to family members. Photo was taken in Manchester (Hillsborough Co.) NH in about 1860, and she looks to be about age 70 in the photo. The photo has a 3cent revenue stamp on it, and was taken by the D. A. Simons studio in Manchester.
Among the many Hannah Hills in the mid 1800s, I found the one who was probably in the photo, in the 1870 and 1880 censuses for Strafford (Strafford Co.) NH. In 1870, Hannah Hill was age 75, living next to son Joseph, age 49, and his wife Mary, with son George, age 9.
In 1880 same location, Hannah Hill was age 85, and lived with daughter Mary Pearl and her husband William H. Pearl. They lived next to her son, Joseph Hill and family.
