Howdy, cousin.-from Texas. LawrenceTrudell of the Buffalo area is my Uncle. He was one of five brothers. Four are still alive. Chas (Charles) is the oldest and is 90 or so, living in Wisconsin. Alfred was the second son and died several years ago in California. Richard -is my dad and lives in Asheboro N.C.. Lawrence(Larry) you know. Robert (Bobby) the youngest lives in eastern New York area. Their Dad and mom were Peter & Anne Davis Trudell. Yes I remember Uncle Larry and Aunt Mary showing up at Uncle Chas' house for Thanksgiving with a station wagon full of kids. Great time - maybe 40-45 yrs. ago. I leve in San Antonio Texas, and I have a complete family tree from our generation all the way back, and before the first Trudell , Jean Trudel (one L) arrived in Canada. If you would e-mail me your address I can send you a copy. I was able to research the family after years of work using a book by two Trudel brother-brothers. (They were monks). The book is "Genealoge de la famille Trudel (le) " by R.P.Paul-Eugene Trudel,O.F.M. It's in french so it took a little tiem to work out. But it covers the entire family from the first Canadian Trudell (Trudel). I know this is long, but its fun finding a family member who is interested in the family. By the way the family name is spelled three ways. Trudel is the original -French spelling. Trudell is the U.S.A. spelling and Trudelle was anorther Canadian spelling.
