Hello, I know this reply is amazingly late after your posting but I have just come across it. My grandfather was a Truman and was from the Lenton area of Nottingham. He was Thomas ralph Truman and b c 1863 , married to Elizabeth Goodman in 1911 and died in 1965 in Nottingham. I suspect his father was Thomas Truman b c1844. Before that is rather hazy.
