Looking for any information on an Ethel Truman/Trumann who married Ray H. Payne 2 Mar 1920, Marion County, Indiana. We know virtually nothing about her except she had worked in an asylum or sanatorium at some time in her life. At some point the last name changes to Pierce(reasons are only a family story) and they and their two children are listed in 1930 census in Marion County. Though her family is listed as all from Illinois, family stories state that her line came from Georgia. In my mess of things, I cannont seem to find her birth and death date info. However, she remarried a man named Krug and lived for a time in Amarillo Texas; she and husband are buried in Pampa, Texas.
Any help would be appreciated. The Payne side of the family has proven to be just as elusive.
