Mrs. J.A. Hickman
Succumbs at 80
Mrs. John Alex Hickman, 80, of Hermitage, died Saturday. She was a Baptist and a longtime resident of this area.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Vera Kelley [sic] of Hot Springs, Mrs. Vergie [sic] Loveless of Wilmar, Mrs. Vastel Russell of Camden, Mrs. Evelyn Forrest of Hermitage, Mrs. Marnette Atkinson of Warren, Mrs. Margis [sic] Hargis of Marshall; two brothers, B.H. Trussell of Hermitage, and Will Trussell of Los Angeles, California; a sister, Mrs. Ora Pollard of Grand Saline, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at Martin's Chapel Church Monday by E.L. Johnson and TAA. Phillips. Interment was in the Outlaw Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Arthur Outlaw, Thurman Hall, Carruth Stedman, Roscoe Pennington, Denzil and J.D. Trussell.
