Sorry that this is a late response, but I just came across this thread. Ben Trust was my great grandmother's (Sarah Master) first cousin. He was the son of Sol and Miriam Trust, and had four siblings Della, Ralph, Simon, and Rose. Ben's mother Miriam (your great great grandmother) was the sister of Fannie Cherkes Master, my great grandmother's mother. I’m looking for a woman by the name of Anne Trust whose father, Bill Trust, worked for the oil company Aramco in New York in the 1940s and 1950s.

In 1949, Anne Trust won a contest to name the Aramco magazine “Aramco World” and it’s now the 60th anniversary of that publication. I’m hoping to find Anne as part of Aramco’s recognition of this milestone.

Hello there, I am a Trust as well from MD. I realize that it has been a while since you posted this, but maybe I am one of those branches of the family tree in MD. From what I understand, my family (3 Trust brothers) came to Baltimore just prior to the Civil War from Germany. One of them, I believe was named Herman. I am pretty sure that my father has more specific information, as he researched our lineage some years back. I will ask him soon. Please let me know if you have dug up any more info. Thanks!

Franziska married Michael RIEDER.

Their son, Joseph RIEDER was born 13Feb1793 in Kiechlinsbergen, Baden, GERMANY

Joseph married Rosina ZWEIGART born 7Jul1806 in Kiechlinsbergen, Baden, GERMANY. She died 2Jan1853 in Baden, GERMANY

I, too, am a descendant of Casper Trust (1824-1874). Casper and his 2nd wife Elizabeth Pfeiffer (1833 -1865) had a daughter, Anna Marie TRUST (1856 - 1914), who is my gggrandmother. She married John Sebastian BRAUN and had 11 children (my ggrandmother was # 9, Lydia). Anna Marie's younger brother was your Jacob Trust (m. Maud Miller)... so, somehow we are related.

My side seemed to have stayed in Brooklyn, NY, but I do have paperwork passed to me from a relative with notes on the whereabouts of others in the TRUST family. I'd be happy to share whatever I may have here.

Sorry, my family is Lithuanian. It is assumed that their name was TRUSKAUSKAS. My father used TRUSKOWSKY on his naturalization papers.

After thorough review of my line in German baptismal records, I have found that our name was properly spelled T-r-o-s-t. The name was changed on U.S. shores, and then corrected after WWI.

Hopefully, that is also a good lead for you too.

My Grand Father Frederick Henry Trust immigrated to NYC around 1888. I can not find where he left from or on what vessel but he claimed in census and citizenship papers he came from Germany but also said Prussia. He was one of 8 chidren born in the 1860s plus or minus, he was born May 26, 1867. He may have had 3 brothers perhaps a Henry and one may have been a soldier in the Kaiser's army. He may have had 4 sisters perhaps Amina, Louisa and Mary. There may be an part of the family tree in Maryland. Any insight would be appreciated. Bill Trust

The book was an eye opener and entertaining, but I must say not terribly useful. It does give some clues in how to research and a lot of almost germane general information.

I received another offer from Morphcorp LLC dba The Trust Family News - Maxwell and
Christina Trust, at 1181 S. Parker Rd #105 Denver CO 80230 (303-751-0869). I may be a
sucker, but I sent them $34.85 plus postage for a copy. What sold me was that the book is accompanied by a CD ROM disk. I havent got them yet.

My family line from what I know starts with William Katrina Schwertman Trust from Paris France, who possible was on the battlefield when Neopoleon was captured. Then F. Harmann Trust, maybe from Germany. then Hermann Ray Trust, Dave Trust, Dennis Trust, Jared and Josh Trust. If this helps someone let me know. It would be fun to find other family.

I think you might be surprised as I was. Halbert's Family Heritage offered to send me a book of The Trusts Since 1832 for, I think, about $35. I bit. When I got the book, I was astonished at the number of Trusts. I have not checked it out thoroughly so I can't tell you how accurate it is, but it is impressive. I'm in it, but my father and siblings are not. Here is it's tally of trusts:

I know some family like Truskauskas amd Rinkus. They lived in Skaruliai Ae. This place is 30 km from Kaunas.

My fathers gradmother name was Aleksiun. She was Anele Aleksiun. He have two brothers in US and sister Donata Krauklis.

I am also interested in Trust/Trost line. Name originated as Trust changed after WWI. My line immigrated to Canal Winchester, OH later to Champaign Co., IL. They had lived in Stoffen (sp?), Mechlinburg-Strelitz, Germany. Although they were Lutherans upon arrival, there is Jewish heritage somewhere a few generations back. My gr-gr grandfather was a tailor and it is rumored that his family were tailors for royalty. Would appreciate hearing from other Trust/Trost connections.

Bonnie, the Trust family I am researching is the line of Frederick Trust, born in England in 1827. He emigrated to the U.S. and lived in New Orleans until his death, between 1865 and 1870. I am searching for details on Ruby Trust jnr daughter of Thomas Bowden Trust and Ruby snr. Probably born in Stratford, London England about 1917(?) and maybe brought up in the country. She's a mystery - none of her elder half brothers and sisters (Harry, Fred, Frank, Bert, Arthur, Rose, Alice - all Trusts) seemed to have known anything about her until she was about 16-17 years old when they met her for one day in 1937. Photographs were taken and then she disappeared again. I'd love to solve this family mystery.

In West Ham, London, England - 1919 or thereabouts, my Great Grandfather, Thomas Bowden Trust had a daughter late in life by a woman called Ada Isbell. They married in 1921 six months after Thomas' first wife died. The daughter may or may not have been born before they were married. All I have is a photograph of her aged about 19 and a few sketchy family legends. Does anybody know about this daughter or her descendants. It seems she was brought up apart from her parents and the children of Thomas first wife knew nothing about her until she was about sixteen and then she 'disappeared' again. All the present family would love to reconnect to her or her descendants.
