John Tubbs born abt. 1700 in England. His wife was Rebecca. Does anyone know her maiden name? George,their son, married Mary, last name probably Turner. William married Elizabeth. Her last name may have been Tabor or Turner. Does anyone have information on the wives of these two men?
Rebecca remarried after John returned to England on a business trip and never returned. Stories say that Rebecca's second husband indentured the two boys after Rebecca married him.

William Tubbs, son of George Tubbs, mentioned above, married Sarah Elizabeth Sanders.

I descend through this line. William and Elizabeth Sanders Tubbs had a son, George Tubbs, who moved to Perry Co. AL, as did his brother John. George's son, Daniel Lee Tubbs settled in Walker county ALandd married Elizabeth Jane Rutledge. After Elizabeth's death he married Matilda Sanders. Daniel is buried in the Good Hope Cemetery in Cullman Co. AL. and has a marker on his grave that states he was a Revolutionary war Vet.

Daniel's daughter Martha Tubbs married Joel J. Rushing. Their descendants live in Cullman Co. AL.
