Can ANYONE tell me the origin of the Tuel name. My paternal grandmother was a Tuel and I have heard everything from Irish to Dutch to French! These were just guesses by the way. Any ideas out there? I can find little to no record of the Tuels on immigration lists, censuses etc. I am thinking that perhaps Tuel is only an Americanization of another name which has been abandoned. Either that or they came here via spacehip - just kidding! I have unfortunately had to place restrictions on my e-mail due to the receipt of pornographic junk mail.
