I have new information that we just found this past week. The person with the info was a cousin to someone who left a message on another site in reply to our question. Would love to correspond with her!!!
Jincy Tune was the daughter of Elizabeth Jordan Tune and James A. Tune. They had several children to include Steven A. Tune, John J. Tune, Manda B. Tune, Samuel Henry Tune, Saloma E. Tune, Mary P. Tune, Margaret A. Tune, Sintha (Cintha) A. Tune, Anebarella C. Tune and Jensy/Jensie/Jensy/Jincy Tune. Her name along with some of the other children have been spelled differently on different documents. She appears with her Mother on the 1880 census (Chickasaw, Colbert, Alabama) as Jensie. She is listed on the 1900 Census (Bell County - State TX) with her 2nd husband, Allen Carter (A.C.) Burton, and her name is spelled Jincy. We just found out that there is a marriage record for her to a S.B. Morphen on December 4, 1885 in Colbert County, Alabama. Her second marriage was to A.C. Burton on Feb 28, 1892 in Colbert County. She had two children before Burton that carried her maiden name. Their names were Mary and Sanford Tune. She had children with A.C. Burton also but at this time I have not figured out which ones. They appear on the 1900 census.
Jincy was born either May 1860 according to the census or November 14, 1862 which is recorded in a Bible that belonged to a Virginia Speer. Jincy died December 16, 1943 as recorded in this same Bible.
Her mother Elizabeth Jordan (maiden name)Tune was born August 11, 1827 and died November 21, 1889 according to this cousin that we haven't met.
